![]() ![]() One morning as I was working on the Begonias (at least I think that's what they're called) I noticed as I moved away the outer flowers and leaves that were turning brown, underneath there were new leaves and blossoms just waiting for their chance to shine. Cutting away and removing blossoms and leaves that have passed their prime. Saturday mornings I usually spend a little extra time tending to the plants. I have not taken on this task before so in a lot of ways it has been a learning experience. This summer I decided to plant the flower boxes on the deck. And hey, what's the harm in buying a lottery ticket every now and then. So is life about buying the ticket, doing the best you know how to until a shift, or a combination of the two. The smallest shift in perspective and circumstance can make all the difference. I have also been thinking about this a lot lately. How do you figure out what the proverbial ticket is as applicable to your life situation? What if your wish or prayer isn't as black and white as buying a ticket. And it seems like a great metaphor for life. For days and days the man prays and then one day the statue comes to life and says to the man, "buy a ticket."įunny and true. Near the beginning of the she tells the story of man who prays to a religious statue to win the lottery. Yesterday I was watching the movie Eat Pray Love. ![]() I currently feel caught in what I've always known, while the dream of what may be looms on the horizon like the sun rising out of the ocean. ![]()
